Photography Ain't Easy

So, it has been a while since I've posted. Partly in fact because last time I went out and took pictures some jerk broke into my car, so I was hesitant about going out again.
So, I've played "photographer" twice since my first time. The first time I was at the park with my cute hubby, my son, Aidan, and our dog, Zoey. I thought I could get some wonderful pics that would be so adorable of Aidan and Zoey. I guess I got some real education in because they were not "most agreeable". But I still got some fun pics in, despite their unreliability.
The second set of photos is of my niece. Well, in some ways she's more like a sister, but it's of her in her beautiful wedding dress. We took the pictures before her wedding, so I had to worry about getting her dress dirty. And how to make a cranky, sleepy, and hungry bride look sexy and happy. Ahh..such is the life of a photographer... ;). When Aidan saw the pictures of her he said, "Mommy, Princess!". So cute!
I wanted to drag her dress all over the place, in back alleys, in the lake, and have her roll around in the grass. That would make good pictures. But maybe not so much happy bride-to-be. Maybe another day.

Getting Out!

So, I've been a mommy for almost 3 years now and have done that full time for about a year. I've decided that I need to spread my wings a little bit and pick up a hobby. So my new hobby is (no, not blogging) photography. I wanted a place I could post my pictures so that I could 1. share them and 2. see my progression.
So I went out for the first time last week. I want to try to work with the camera that I have to force myself to learn. Also to save money. One thing I learned right away is that my camera is very limited. But I am determined to keep working with it and to use Snag It to enhance my creativity. So here is my beginning...
